In August of 2000, we transformed an empty storefront into a fully-functioning blackbox theatre.

In March of 2005, we added the adjacent storefront, creating a much-needed rehearsal hall, lobby, and dressing room.

The intimate theatre holds 30 seats and includes extensive lighting equipment and central air. The rehearsal hall includes carpeting, plenty of light, and A/C.

The Black Dahlia Theatre is proud to be an Equity-approved venue.

We are located on Pico Boulevard between Fairfax and La Brea, five minutes from the 10 Freeway and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Both spaces are available to rent for classes, rehearsals, workshops, and auditions.
