Three prospective parents wrestle with the emotions of adoption as they compete for a new life – for themselves and for a child.
Playwright Blair Singer uses language that is both lyrical and raw to bring these characters to life – immediate, unflinching and deeply compelling.
A graduate of the Juilliard school, Blair Singer is an up-and-coming American playwright whose work has been presented at Manhattan Theatre Club, Rattlestick Playwrights’ Theater, The Cherry Lane, and The Vital Theater. Placement was first read in Manhattan Theatre Club’s developmental reading series 6@6: Discovering the Next Generation.
